| Abstract | The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting soybean production, the level of risk of soybean production, and farmers' behavior towards soybean production risk. This research was conducted using the cluster sampling method. The number of samples in this study was 61 soybean farmers. The results showed that the factors of land area, and the number of seeds partially had a significant effect on soybean production. The level of risk of soybean production is included in the medium production risk. The behavior of soybean farmers in facing production risk is mostly risk aversion. This can be seen from farmers who reduce the use of production inputs so that in the event of crop failure, the losses experienced by farmers are not large.ÃÂ Keywords: Farmer behavior, production risk, soybeanÃÂ INTISARITujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi kedelai, tingkat risiko produksi kedelai, dan perilaku petani terhadap risiko produksi kedelai. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode cluster sampling. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 61 petani kedelai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor luas lahan, dan jumlah benih secara parsial berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi kedelai. Tingkat risiko produksi kedelai termasuk dalam risiko produksi sedang. Perilaku petani kedelai dalam menghadapi risiko produksi sebagian besar adalah menghidari risiko. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari petani yang mengurangi penggunaan input produksi sehingga apabila terjadi kegagalan panen, kerugian yang dialami petani tidak besar.ÃÂ Kata Kunci: Kedelai, perilaku petani, risiko produksi |
